Does anyone know where I might be able to download (free hopefully) the drivers for the HP LaserJet 1100 so it will work with my Dell Windows 7? (Unfortunately, the sellers of the USB/Parallel Port adapter cable told me it was 'plug-n-play.' Looking at the 1998 HP LaserJet 1100 Quick Reference Guide that I do at least have, I'm not sure that I've been had!!! Any help is greatly appreciated!! Though I have an all-in-one color printer for pictures and other documents, overwhelmingly I write short stories (and some long ones) but Great American Author not me! I purchased a USB adapter that connects with the 'smaller' proprietary connection on the HP and I know the my Windows 7 Home edition is communicating with it. Lo and behold the HP LaserJet 1100 works!
