Dialogues of the movie, written by Sanjay Masoom, are also quite impressive and very well written. On the other hand, he has narrated and executed a number of sequences remarkably and succeeds to engage the audience throughout the movie. However, because of its mediocre script, he didn’t get a chance to explore much. Vishal Mahadkar makes his debut in direction with ‘Blood Money’, and he has showed his fruitful talent.

The second half of the movie provides some interesting sequences, but all can be prejudge and presume. The first half of the movie begins in a smooth manner and later on slowly and gradually takes its own peak. Written by Upendra Sidhye, who had earlier penned down the story of Payback (2010), the overall storyline of Blood Money is quite clichéd and mediocre. Screenplay & Direction:The basic plot of the movie is interesting, but sadly, the screenplay does not impress you much. How Kunal manages to escape from this trap and how he plans to put Zaveri behind the bars, forms the crux of the story. Silently he continues to do his job but on the inner side, he feels very much on the wrong side of the law. Just before the interval, the story takes a new turn where Kunal discovers the real picture of Zaveri and his company, by getting familiar with the fact that it deals with the mafia people and doing a lot of illegal business.

In a craze to become more and more successful in professional life, Kunal ignores his wife and family life. After cracking a deal smartly and benefitting the company with some good profit, Zaveri promotes Kunal and gives some more responsibility and accordingly more lavishness in his life. The job provides Kunal a lavish house, pricey car and a very luxurious life. The business tycoon Zaveri (Manish Choudhary) runs the diamond export company, where Kunal works now. Kunal shifts his base from Mumbai to Cape Town with his lovely and gorgeous wife Arzoo (Amrita Puri). Story:It is the story of a young and talented boy Kunal Kadam (Kunal Khemu) who after completing his MBA gets a dream job in a multinational diamond export company at Cape Town. Sadly, the writing department fails to deliver something hardcore content, but on the contrary, had managed to deliver an enjoyable product. Although the genre of the movie is thriller and crime, so the storyline of it acts as a key role. However, the film title was later change to ‘Blood Money’ to maintain its originality. Blood Money is a sequel to Bhatt’s earlier film Kalyug that also starred Kunal Khemu in it, and the makers were planning to name it as ‘Kalyug 2’. Earlier many were comparing the movie with Hollywood blockbuster movie ‘Blood Diamond’ (2006), and as well with Bhatt’s earlier directorial film Naam (1986), but Bhatt declined both of these allegations.
